    Event description

UTS Tech Festival is back in 2023, bigger and better!

Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and IT, Tech Festival brings current and prospective UTS students, academics and industry together to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation! You won't want to miss this two-week festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops and seminars!

    Robotics Showcase

We are pleased to invite you to the annual UTS Robotics Showcase!

Robotics is an exciting field that blends engineering, computer science, and mathematics to create machines that can perform tasks autonomously. From industrial automation to surgical procedures, robotics has already had a transformative impact on numerous industries.

At the Robotics Showcase, you will experience real-life robots and talk to the UTS students and staff who develop them. Hosted by the UTS Robotics Institute (www.ri.uts.edu.au), this event celebrates our students' accomplishments this semester and showcases a variety of robotics projects from both teaching and research.

From designing robots that can navigate complex terrain to programming human-like robots that can interact with us, these projects highlight the vast potential of robotics to solve real-world problems and improve our lives.

As well as meeting the robots, the Robotics Showcase is an opportunity to network with students, academics and industry, to enjoy free food, and prizes!

Register your attendance by Friday 23 June 2023.
