UTS Tech Festival 2022: Seminar - MATLAB for AI
Event description
UTS Tech Festival (June 20 – July 01, 2022 )is a two weeks festival of events, showcases, hackathons, workshops, masterclasses, seminars, competitions, industry-student engagement and much more! Our goal is to bring together students, academics and industry to foster learning, inspiration, share ideas and promote innovation.
We’re excited to welcome you to our campus for the Seminar on MATLAB for AIwhich is part of the UTS Tech Festival 2022!
About:
This 4-part seminar will show you with real-world examples how MATLAB makes AI easy and accessible with tools such as interactive apps generating MATLAB code. MATLAB provides AI capabilities similar to those of dedicated AI tools like Caffe and TensorFlow—and more importantly, only MATLAB lets you integrate AI into the complete workflow for developing a fully engineered system, from data preparation to deployment. Finally, MATLAB provides a flexible, two-way integration with many programming languages, including Python, and supports importing and exporting open source deep learning frameworks with the ONNX format.
Agenda:
- Part 1: Machine Learning for image classification
- Part 2: Deep Learning for image classification and object detection
- Part 3: Interoperability with Open Source
- Part 4: Reinforcement Learning
Highlights:
- Generate MATLAB code using Apps comparing different machine learning methods
- Graphically create, edit, and train Deep Learning models
- Use labeller apps to automate your data labelling workflow
- Deploy your models to production in a variety of formats
- Call Python from MATLAB, call MATLAB from Python, and generate Python libraries from MATLAB functions
- Use TensorFlow Keras Model importer and ONNX for Deep Learning interoperability
- Build environment simulations with Simulink for Reinforcement Learning applications
