Are you a UTS student with a start-up? Look no further. UTS Startup Awards and Venture Day is for you!

On 31 August 2022, UTS Startup Awards and Venture Day will be held at UTS. The UTS Startup Awards and Venture Day is an opportunity to pitch your start-up to a panel of investors and start-up executives for the chance to showcase your idea, mingle with peers and possibly win cash and in-kind awards!

For your chance to participate in the pitch event, please register and submit a link to your 5-minute pitch video, including your slide deck. Please make sure:

Your video pitch does not exceed 5-minutes (we will not consider submissions longer than this); and
You test your video link and make sure it is accessible via the URL you have provided.

Selected participants will be invited to pitch in the 2nd round of pitches on 11 August 2022, where they pitch live and online to a panel of judges. The final eight start-ups will then be invited to a week of pitch practice and coaching before presenting their start-up at UTS Startup Awards and Venture Day on 31 August 2022 live and in-person at the UTS Great Hall.

The person pitching the business idea must register. Other team members are not required to register at this stage.
At least one of the team members must currently be enrolled in a UTS degree.
Your start-up has not already been presented at UTS Venture Day in previous years.

Applications for 1st round video pitch submissions close on Monday, 1 August 2022 at 9 AM.
