Event description

You’re invited to the 7th Utyerre Apanpe Forum – a space for First Nations educators to come together, connect, and grow.

We’re excited to welcome you to Garramilla/Darwin for this year’s Utyerre Apanpe (First Nations Educators' Network) Forum.

This gathering is for First Nations people only – educators, professors, teachers, knowledge holders, and anyone involved in teaching and learning within our communities.

Utyerre Apanpe is a space where we honour and strengthen our own ways of knowing, doing, and being – grounded in culture, kinship, and Country.

This forum is about more than just sharing knowledge. It’s about building something bigger together – a national movement to shape a First Nations-led education system. It’s a chance to speak with one voice about the changes we want to see in education – from the classroom to government – and to support a strong, connected network of First Nations educators across the country.

At Utyerre Apanpe, we’ll share our stories, ideas, and practices – from curriculum and pedagogy to standards and workforce – all through the lens of our own cultures and communities. It's a powerful opportunity to walk alongside each other, to back each other, and to keep pushing for the change our Elders and ancestors have long called for.

We hope you can join us.
