What is the Validation Sprint?

Fancy the idea of validating your business idea or new product in 1 day?

It literally is a sprint. During one day participants will literally experience a business validation bootcamp. It is a gamified approach to ideation utilising the globally known Lean Canvas with a few Bizezi tweaks to create a Lean Canvas Plus. Importantly the process educates on business while the app collects data throughout the game. The Validation Sprint utilises the unique New Zealand born app (bizezi) to collect data and help to identify the pro's and con's of your business concept.

What does it do?

The Validation Sprint gameifies the very start of business planning process, breaking the business concept down into manageable parts. Through the workshop you will use our Bizezi app to simplify and easily give clarity to the validity of the business idea or new product idea.

The course is approved for participation by the Regional Business Partner Network and available across Aotearoa New Zealand.
Some applicants will be able to apply for a capability building grant from the Regional Business Partner Network, via their approved partners.

Bizezi Training (Formally Rebel Business School Aotearoa) provides FREE to attend business activation programmes for communities across Aotearoa. Their graduate programme provides access to tools, processes, deals, mentoring and products enabling sustainable business growth. Additionally they have a Business Planning app (bizeziapp.com) that gamifies the front-end of the business plan and focuses business owners on validation and business model. The app is a core part of their Validation Sprint and Business Plan Sprint programmes. They have in-person, hybrid and online business activation programmes.

Over the past seven years (better known as Rebel Business School Aotearoa) Bizezi Training have worked with over 1,800 small businesses across Aotearoa including areas like Tolaga Bay, Te Kaha and Kawerau. They are a data rich organisation with Longitudinal Study data. The Bizezi Training Flagship Programmes range from 1-2 days through to 10-day business activation. Bizezi Training have worked closely to deliver their programmes with multiple councils, economic development agencies, corporates and central government.
