Valley Walk Summer Orchard Pruning

Join Friends of Valley Walk Orchard for a hands-on introduction to summer orchard pruning. Led by Luke, this two-hour session focuses on the summer pruning of stone fruit trees and covers the basic principles of orchard tree care. We’ll begin with a 15-minute health and safety briefing before getting started, with opportunities to learn through practical experience.

Participants may also help with additional tasks such as litter picking. Please note that anyone under 16 must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult.
