Pink Shorts Press publishes fantastically readable, socially conscious and slightly offbeat books, and runs workshops to help anyone get better at using words. We are loudly independent and proudly South Australian.

We are also known as Margot Lloyd and Emily Hart, and together we have over two decades of experience working in stories, books and publishing. We pride ourselves on our editorial care, collaboration and quality. We value sustainability, generosity, transparency and inclusivity. We love building community, which is at the heart of our events and our newsletter. We don’t drink coffee and we laugh a lot.
