Vanessa Grant Trust Fundraiser 2025

Join us at the Coogee Surf Lifesaving Club, Coogee Beach on Friday 21 November 2025, for our biennial fundraiser for the Vanessa Grant Trust schools in Kenya.  

Special highlights for the evening:

• Our MC will be the fabulous James O'Loghlin (author, comedian, radio & TV host)

• Alex Grant, Vanessa and Hamish’s son, will be here from Kenya to share the VGT vision with you.  

• A real time conversation with students at the schools. 

• Silent and live auctions under the expert guidance of our favourite auctioneer Stu Williams.

Your ticket will include dinner, a special African dance performance by Sibo Bangoura, and welcome drinks overlooking stunning Coogee Beach. 

Our fundraising goal is to break the $50,000 barrier with proceeds from the auctions and donations.  Your ticket price just covers the cost of running the event, so we really encourage you to get involved on the night!

Funds raised will drive the University bursary program in 2026-27, as well as a focus on children with disability and infrastructure development across the schools in Rongai, Kenya. 

Bookings 

Tickets are $130 per person and include welcome beverages, scrumptious food and entertainment.  A cash bar will also be available on the night.  Doors open at 6pm.

'OPEN' tables indicate the availability of unreserved seating.

'NAMED' tables are only available for booking by the Named Person's guests.
