Vantage Points – A rare chance to experience three extraordinary paintings of the Swan River in the Janet Holmes à Court Collection
Go behind the scenes at the Janet Holmes à Court Collection for an intimate, guided viewing of three remarkable views of the Swan River.
Be welcomed into the working spaces of the Janet Holmes à Court Collection, normally closed to the public, to intimately experience three rarely seen artworks. The Collection is renowned for its many depictions of Perth and Western Australia from the colony’s earliest years as well as its remarkable holding of Indigenous art from every region of the State. Seize this chance to closely examine two of the earliest non-Indigenous depictions of the Swan River and an exceptional painting of Perth water by Indigenous artist Rover Thomas.
