The 2026 Big Top Ball will take place at the Westin on Saturday, 22 August from 6:30pm - 11:59pm.
This year’s theme, the Opening Act, is found in the side shows and subtle details, the half-seen moments and quiet curiosities that stir the senses and hint at something just beyond reach. What happens before entering the circus, you may ask? Come and experience it for yourself.

One of the most tangible ways your support at the Ball creates change is through Variety Sunshine Coach - a purpose-built, fully accessible minibus delivered directly to a school or organisation serving children with disabilities or disadvantage across WA. What is a Variety Sunshine Coach? For many children living with disability or experiencing disadvantage or isolation across WA, getting to a school excursion, therapy session, or a community outing isn't simple. Without reliable, accessible transport, it's often not possible at all. A Variety Sunshine Coach changes that. These specially adapted minibuses become part of everyday life for the schools and organisations that receive them, giving children safe, reliable access to experiences every child deserves. School camps. Sports days. Community outings. The simple joy of going somewhere new with your classmates. These are the moments that build independence, confidence, and connection - and they start with having a way to get there. Each coach supports hundreds of children for years. It isn't just a vehicle - it's access to the World.

- What does my ticket include?
Three-course meal
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for five (5) hours
- Do I need a physical ticket?
No. Please have your digital ticket ready for scanning on arrival. If you cannot locate it, our team can check you in by name.
- What is the cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend, you must notify Variety WA via email to events@varietywa.org.au.
Refunds will be issued as follows:
- By 5:00 pm, Wednesday, 22 July 2026: Full refund
- By 5:00 pm, Thursday, 6 August 2026: 50% refund
- After 5:00 pm, Thursday, 6 August 2026: No refund
All refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of your cancellation being confirmed. Where a discounted rate was paid, the refund will be based on the amount actually paid, not the full ticket price.
- Are tickets tax deductible?
No. However, any donations or pledges made on the night are tax-deductible, and receipts will be issued after the event.
- Is accommodation available on-site?
Yes. Deluxe King Rooms are available at a special rate of $300 inc gst per night. You can select accommodation when purchasing your ticket. If you have any questions about the accommodation, please email events@varietywa.org.au.
- I’m attending with friends, can we sit together?
Yes. You can include your friends’ names during registration. We will do our best to seat you together, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
- What is the dress code?
Black Tie Gala, with a theatrical twist.
- Can I request an Invoice for payment?
Yes! Corporate or group bookings may request invoice-based payment with prior written approval from Variety WA. Contact events@varietywa.org.au.
