VCOSS Disaster Recovery Conversation series: Older people and disasters
Online Event
Description
The VCOSS Disaster Recovery Conversation series provides an opportunity for leaders, staff and volunteers of community and social service organisations to network and gain access to in depth expert knowledge on topical issues relating to emergencies and disasters.
The purpose of this month's Conversation is to identify and explore priority issues in emergency and disaster recovery for older people, to share recent research and practice, and to have your questions answered.
Speakers include:
- Dr Kathleen Brasher, Executive Officer Upper Hume Primary Care Partnership and author of An age-friendly approach to disaster recovery
- Tina Hogarth-Clarke, Chief Executive Officer - Council of the Ageing (Victoria)
We look forward to 'seeing' you there.

We work towards creating a Victoria that is fair, just and inclusive. A society where nobody is trapped by poverty, and everybody is supported to live a life of wellbeing.
