Veilomani Clothes Swap
Event description
Too often we see clothes go to landfill. Even in our community, we utilise hand me downs until there is no one left to be handed to, and yet our clothes still end up in landfill.
On the 20th of April we have organised a Clothes Swap where community can bring in their pre-loved clothes/accessories and swap with other members of the community.
The Swap will be help at Matavai Cultural Arts Centre at the Lurnea Community Hub.
Drop off session will be from 11am-1pm
Swap session will be from 2pm-4pm
We are accepting 5-7 items per person.
Please ensure that the clothes you bring are clothes that are in a good condition. This means clothes that you would be happy to give to your parents or your children (clean with no damage.)
This is also not a clothing donation point. Please remember that we are all volunteers and treat everyone with kindness.
