Venus, Examined Launch Party

IF I WERE BLIND I’D KNOW WHAT YOU ARE

Following the death of her boy hunter Adonis, the goddess of love sets to folly humanity and their so-called imitations of romance at the expense of turning mortal.

After a sold-out premiere, a mythos of public speculation, and months of meticulous crafting, Venus, Examined is ready for her close-up. Are you?

Join us on December 2nd at Sappho Books, Cafe & Bar for the official independent launch party of Venus, Examined. You can expect dazzling new-wave beats from DJ El Chino, an acoustic live-set from the film's composers, Kitty of the Valley and, of course, a screening of the film itself.

We’ll also be selling very limited soundtrack CDs and DVDs of the film, alongside hand-crafted zines and posters. All proceeds will support the film’s festival submissions and help reimburse the student creators who brought it to life. To top it off, enjoy a specialty cocktail, fit for any Goddess of Love, crafted by the darling bar staff at Sappho’s.

Shall we see you there?

Yours,

The Venus, Examined Crew
