Verge Garden Workshop - Southern Cross Drive

Verge Garden (nature strips) are often ignored, but they have great potential.
We will be creating 5 demonstration verge vegetable garden in Belconnen with assistance from the ACT Government under the ACT Community Garden Grants Program.
The five demonstration workshops will repeat the installation process at different locations in Belconnen, installation will be guided by Fiona from the Ainslie Urban Farm.
Each Verge Garden will be hosted by a house hold or group. Come along to one workshop or join the community group who will care for the garden. Please bring gardening gloves, hat and water. Follow up guidance and workshops will be provided throughout the year to provide information on composting, harvesting, rejuvenation, seed saving and succession planting.
