    You are cordially invited by The Victorian Vernier Society for Lunch on Thursday the 8th of February @ 12:30 for 1:00pm at The Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club, 489 Glenferrie Rd, Kooyong.

    The meeting will close around 3:00pm.

    Please remember to bring cash to our dinner for paying the almoners for indiscretions for which you may be responsible.

    ANCA

    Kotler Tee is the technical leader in control system of ANCA Pty Ltd. Kotler was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He attended RMIT University in 2008 where he received a 1st class honours degree in advanced manufacturing and mechatronics engineering. After graduation, he continued his studies and obtained his PhD degree in 2015 from RMIT University. His research fields are, PCD spark erosion and fuzzy logic control. After graduated he joined ANCA and actively participated in various development program such as ANCA Spark erosion, Linear motor machines and Ultra series machines.

    Ultra Package in Ultra Series Machines

    Ultra series machines are capable of achieving high quality cutting tools down to an impressive 0.1mm diameter, with excellent surface finish, high accuracy, and controlled runout – ANCA’s new premium machine delivers batch consistency from tool number one to one thousand. They are also capable of achieving an impressive line form accuracy of +/-0.002mm, with superior surface finish and invisible OD to ball transitions. The topic of discussion will include some of the methods/techniques implemented in our Ultra series machines including our unique 1 nanometer control system to achieve this impressive outcome.

    Jas is a founder and CEO of Candour. Jas has a law degree from ANU, a Vice Chancellors Scholar at RMIT and is a Registered Architect. Jas has extensive experience growing and leading large teams operating digital fabrication workshops and is the Innovation Manager at the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning, University of Melbourne. He brings extensive experience within the built environments, technology, and innovation.

    Chris Gilbert

    Co-Founder / Innovation Lead

    Chris is a founding director of Candour who brings extensive experience designing award winning residential and commercial architecture projects. This experience provides Candour with a design led approach to building procurement have been honed through his career as a founding director of architecture practice ARCHIER.
