Vertebrate pesticide induction training Yass

Introductory training course for landholders to become accredited to use vertebrate pesticide products to control pest animals delivered by Local Land Services.

Event details:

Need to become accredited to use vertebrate pesticide products such as 1080 and Pindone on your property?
Join us for this face to face training in Yass.

On completion of the training, participants will be accredited to use 1080, pindone, PAPP and RHDV products for 5 years to manage vertebrate pest species.

Training will cover:

• legislation and legal obligations

• baiting techniques

• toxicity

• storage

• transport

• how to reduce non-target exposure.

All training materials and morning tea will be provided.
