Very Special Kids Volunteer Information Sessions (Term 1) 2024
Event description
Very Special Kids provides holistic palliative care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and tailored support for their families – through life, death and bereavement. Our integrated approach includes emotional, clinical and practical support to improve quality of life and create positive, lasting memories. As Victoria’s only children’s hospice, our services support more than 800 families across Victoria. (vsk.org.au)
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and experiences to contribute to a range of different volunteering opportunities. Help out at our various events and fundraising activities, or assist a sibling program or family fun day. Pick up shifts at our Very Special Kids House (children's hospice) or join our visiting program at the Royal Children's Hospital. Explore a link with a Very Special Kids family to provide home-visiting support.
