Sydney Gala Charity Dinner
Event description
Join us for an evening of inspiration and camaraderie at the Veteran Games - Sydney Gala Charity Dinner, hosted by Veteran Support Force.
The Veteran Games is a proactive health initiative, developed by Veterans - for Veterans, designed to address key findings from the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide, and key failings within the existing Veteran support systems. We must continue to step up and support each other during a period in our history that has sadly seen the loss of more young Veterans back home than we lost while deployed in combat overseas.
The 2023 inaugural Veteran Games was a huge success, and we are now set to continue this annual event with the support of our wider Australian community and corporate leaders alike.
At this exclusive gala dinner, guests will have the opportunity to come together in support of our Veterans and their families in the lead up to ANZAC Day. The evening will feature a compelling keynote address by Heston Russell, shedding light on the key issues facing our contemporary Veteran community and what actions can be taken by everyday Australians to help combat this mental health and suicide crisis. Our special guest host, Ben Fordham, will guide us through the evening's entertainment.
Join us as we raise funds and awareness for the Veteran Games, an initiative that is reshaping the narrative and championing the resilience of our Veterans. Your presence and support will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country with honour.
