Main Act - folkTrain
folkTrain is a band based in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges. The band performs an Australian/Celtic blend of tradition and original songs, accompanied by a wide range of instruments including guitar, mandolin, octave mandolin, banjo, accordion, fiddle and harmonica. Since forming in 2010 folkTrain has performed at clubs, pubs and festivals in Victoria, New South Wales and Tasmania. Audience participation is always encouraged! The folkTrain line up is Saskia Adams, Heather Allan, Gerry Breukers and Chris Stack
Support Act - Fairbairn and O'Mara
Rob’s extensive career as a band member, solo entertainer and music teacher has taken him from Vladivostok to Vermont South, from Dargo to Dublin and from the Dan O'Connell in Carlton to the Jaic Hilton in Colombo. His songwriting has been recognised by Slim Dusty, John Williamson, Macca and The Furey Brothers. Kevin’s long association with Paradiddle saw him performing for schools and communities throughout the state, on the stage of the Sydney Opera House, culminating in a tour of Japan. Always community minded, for 40 years Kevin led the famed Warrandyte Primary School Bush Band, among whose many exploits was a performance for The Dalai Llama.
