Vibe Coding for Teachers: Creating Interactive Lessons Without Learning to Code

Join James Abela at the International School of Dongguan on Saturday, 5 December 2026 for a practical, hands-on workshop exploring vibe coding: creating interactive learning materials and simplifying everyday teaching tasks using plain-language prompts.

This workshop is designed for teachers who do not teach Computer Science. No coding knowledge is required.

Through demonstrations, guided practice and a first-draft build, participants will explore how to:

Turn static slides and worksheets into interactive learning activities
Design and refine a classroom tool using clear prompts
Explore ways to streamline planning, summaries and routine administration
Evaluate generated content for accuracy, privacy and classroom suitability

The workshop will also address the limits of vibe coding: when it works well, where caution is needed, and how to use it responsibly with students. The focus is on confidence, clarity and realistic classroom use.

The Dongguan activities will not require Google services. The specific tools, accounts and sharing arrangements will be confirmed after local access checks with the host school; no particular overseas platform is assumed to be accessible.
