V.I.B.E. Trivia and Mini-Con Night @ Quarterhouse

Nerds, assemble! V.I.B.E. (the Victorian Inter-Uni Boardgame E-ssociation) has gathered you here today for a most noble mission: boardgames, TTRPGs and trivia.
5 clubs from 5 different universities around Melbourne have teamed up to give you a geeky night of trivia, boardgames, one-shots, murder mysteries and Blood on the Clocktower to help you unwind after exams! Take the chance to make friends outside your usual circles, meet like-minded people from different universities and have a fun time with us!

We will be meeting at the Hall at Quarterhouse on Wednesday the 1st of July, from 6pm till late. Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Tickets are $35 for those affiliated with DTS, FASA, RBGA and STTRPG. All tickets include entry, activities and 1 meal of either a beef burger, chicken schnitzel or pizza of your choice. (Get in quick with your choice as there are limited numbers of each option.)
There are 20 tickets available per club, so make sure to grab yours before they sell out. If you are from UniMelb/TGS, keep an eye out for a separate ticketing link before buying tickets!
Tickets will close on the 23rd of June, so get in quick. We can’t wait to see you there!
Game plan (Schedule):
6pm : Doors open, free play & mingling
6:15pm : Food service starts
6:30-8pm : Trivia
8-10pm : Murder Mystery
Throughout: Blood on the Clocktower, TTRPG One-Shots, Boardgame Free-play
11:00 : Event closes, departure :)
Terms & Conditions: This is a ticket for the boardgames, trivia and social deduction games event on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. The venue and our clubs reserve the right to refuse entry. FASA is affiliated with MSA Clubs & Societies.
Information Collection Statement
DTS, FASA, STTRPG, RBGA, and TGS collect information regarding personal details, medical conditions and accessibility requirements where applicable, for the purposes of event updates, notifications of future events and facilitating effective first aid. The relevant University Student Associations will be given access to this information where required.
Basic participant details, including name, student number and emergency contact details will be passed onto the Venue Staff in case of an emergency. This information is kept strictly confidential, and will only be disclosed for the purposes for which it is collected. By providing this information and attending this event, you consent to us collecting the information for these purposes.
FAQs
- What should I bring? Do I need to bring my own dice and boardgames?
You won't be required to bring anything related to the activities; we'll provide dice and the boardgames and the like. Bring your phone, Myki, ID and anything else you would usually carry to an event like this.
- Do I have to organise a group of people/trivia team in advance?
You can if you want! However, you can just turn up and find a team amongst the people there - we encourage mingling between all the different clubs! We'll help you find a team if you're struggling :)
- Will my ticket include a drink?
No. While your ticket includes a meal, it will not include a drink, drink token or any discounts on drinks. However, drinks are available to purchase at the bar, with non-alcoholic and alcoholic options. If consuming alcohol, we ask that you drink responsibly.
- Thoughts on FASA?
FASA? I love FASA! They put me in a room, a room with FASA. And I LOVE FASA.
- How do I get there?
Participants are expected to make their own way to and from the venue.
The Quarterhouse is conveniently located near Southern Cross Station on Collins St. Parking is available in the city but we encourage attendees to take public transport as people who drive in the city are scary (/j).
If coming via public transport, the Quarterhouse is accessible through:
Train: Glen Waverley, Belgrave, Lilydale, Alamein, Frankston, Upfield, Craigieburn, Mernda, Hurstbridge, Williamstown and Werribee lines in addition to various regional train lines.
Tram: Routes 11, 12, 48, 96, 109 - the Quarterhouse is also a short walk from stops along routes 70, 75 and 86.
Bus: Routes 232, 235, 237.
- Do I have to stay for the entire event?
No, feel free to leave early if needed :)
