Norwegian born, Queensland based Vibeke Voller is an internationally acclaimed and accomplished vocalist, and her unique vocal style is regarded as rich, smooth, and dynamic.
Vibeke has extensive experience performing in various ensembles and bands incorporating a variety of musical genres in Australia and Europe, and in recent years has focused on performing jazz. Highlights include performing at the opening Gala Concert for International Music Festival “EUROPAfest” Romania, Bay of Islands Jazz Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival, various Jazz Clubs in New Zealand, as well as Jazz Clubs in Queensland including several at the Brisbane Jazz Club.
A gifted songwriter, she released her debut album composing original songs in 2008, and 4 jazz albums in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2023.
The Vibeke Voller Quartet will enliven your afternoon with an enjoyable, classy, and fun mix of swinging jazz, Brazilian grooves, and cruisy contemporary pop arrangements.
Vibeke is backed by some of Brisbane’s finest and most talented jazz musicians; Wil Sargisson on keys, Andrew Shaw on double bass and Mitch Bellert on drums.
