  • 3 hours of Professional Development for anyone working with children in sport, leisure and aquatics

  • Keynote address by safeguarding expert Phil Doorgachurn

  • Interactive workshop led by Phil on building safer cultures

  • Industry panel discussion: lessons learned and practical safeguarding solutions facilitated by Phil and including AUSTSWIM Chair Melinda Crole - a highly respected advocate for children and young people (other panelists to be announced)

  • Networking opportunities with peers and sector leaders

About the Speaker
Phil Doorgachurn is a globally recognised safeguarding leader who serves on the Australian Government’s National Office for Child Safety Advisory Board. He also co-created AUSTSWIM’s online Safeguarding Professional Development program, now available nationwide for swim teachers and swim schools: View Online Safeguarding PD.
