Perfect for anyone who is looking to start or build their own business, make a career transition, or step back into the workforce after some time off.

You’ll have the chance to speak with experts in recruitment and career counselling, learn about the vast range of education and training pathways available locally, and receive friendly advice on running your own business and opportunities for business support.

PLUS, we’ll also be running one-on-one Resume Checks, Interview Tips sessions AND an engaging limited place ‘REBEL’ workshop to help identify your capabilities from all aspects of life which can be utilised in the workplace!

REBEL WORKSHOP

Feel like you have a lot of life experience but find it hard to describe it to employers in a useful way? Join Kerri, Vic Park Community Centre’s manager, lived experience enthusiast and former careers counsellor in a practical workshop that will support you to identity and articulate your unique capabilities to showcase to future employers.

Using the REBEL cards, you’ll create a personal ‘snapshot’ of capabilities which you can then use on resumes, cover letters or during interviews to speak positively about who you are and what individual skills you have.

11am – 12.30pm (must be there for full 1.5hours)
