VIC100 Volunteers 2025 (Expression of Interest)
Event description
The VIC100, now set for 16 November 2025, is more than just a cycling event—it's a powerful initiative to support suicide prevention and mental health services in your community.
This 100km ride from Penrith to Mount Victoria, via the stunning Bells Line of Road, offers cyclists a challenging and rewarding experience, while raising crucial funds for Lifeline and its mission to save lives.
Our charity partners, including Lifeline Central West, Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, Lifeline Macarthur, and Western Sydney, have been at the heart of suicide prevention efforts for decades. These local Lifeline centers have equipped thousands of individuals with the tools to support their mental health, reduce the risk of suicide, and respond to those in crisis. They provide 24-hour access to services like the 13 11 14 helpline, financial counselling, crisis support, and recovery care for those dealing with grief, depression, and the aftermath of suicide.
As a VIC100 volunteer, you’ll be directly contributing to these life-saving efforts. Whether you’re helping at the start line, along the route as a marshal, at a drink station, or welcoming riders at the finish, your role will ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. By joining our volunteer team, you’ll be making a tangible difference, supporting both the cyclists and the communities that benefit from Lifeline’s essential services.
This is a chance to be part of something truly meaningful. Together, we can help beat depression and support a future with zero suicides.
