Victor Harbor Science Fair Afternoon Session 2025

The fourth Victor Harbor Science Fair on 29th June at the Victor Harbor Recreation Centre aims to delight and engage with all ages at morning and afternoon sessions.  It is part of the amazing range of events at the Winter Whale Fest (www.winterwhalefest.com.au )  and is strongly supported by the City of Victor Harbor.

Marvel at SciFiBri's Fire & Froth Shows, get up close with wildlife at the Animals Anonymous Show and be amazed at the Aces Magic Show! Immerse yourself in marine science at displays by the Marine Discovery Centre and Fleurieu Marine Education. Kids into technology can get involved with robotics with the Roboroos team and SciWorld's huge inflatable Starlab will be offering journeys through the night sky.  IgniteVR will also be there with an engaging virtual reality experience. 

This year there will be a special Toddlers' Corner with lots of hands-on activities for younger visitors. For older children there will be an electric circuit activity, giving them an introduction to the world of electronics.  For Dr Who fans, the Daleks are back with their hollow offers to 'exterminate'.  The Fleuieu Regional Waste Authority will also be there to offer the very latest in recycling tips.

So much fun in every corner of the Recreation Centre complex. It has to be the event that the kids will never want to leave.

Thanks to the City of Victor Harbor and the Rotary Club of Victor Harbor for helping make it all happen.  The Rotary Club is providing a great sausage sizzle and Laynies Coffee van will ensure parents get their caffeine fix. 

We acknowledge that some families are doing it a bit tough this year so we have actually reduced entry fees to $9 each or just $29 for a family of four.
