ISS & YouX Victor Harbor Trip (Orientation - Semester 2 2024)

Victor Harbor is 84km due south of Adelaide and situated at the head of Encounter Bay. The sea, beaches, spectacular views and wildlife make it a popular tourist attraction.

On this day trip, you will visit the town of Victor Harbor, as well as Urimbirra Wildlife Park, where you can hang out with Aussie animals including koalas and kangaroos.

Arrive by 8.30am on the Barr Smith Lawns (North Terrace campus) to sign in and board your bus.

As we have limited capacity, this trip is for current University of Adelaide students only, and family members or non-student friends are not able to attend.

Tickets

• The ticket price includes a bus trip to and from Victor Harbor, and entry fee for the Urimbirra Wildlife Park. For lunch, please either bring your own food, or buy it yourself from one of the many restaurants, cafes and take-away venues at Victor Harbor.

• You can choose the bus you want to take by buying the appropriate ticket. If you want to go on the trip with your friends, make sure you book tickets for the same bus.

• Please only buy a ticket for yourself - do not buy tickets for other people. If there is more than one ticket with your name, we will cancel the duplicate tickets.

• Tickets are not transferable - you can't give your ticket to someone else.

• Refunds are available up to 24hrs before the trip.

Other information

• Please arrive on time for your bus in the morning. Prior to the event you will receive a detailed schedule for the day, but you should arrive by 8.30am on the Barr Smith lawns. If you are late and miss your bus, you will not be able to join the trip, and there are no refunds.

• Throughout the day, please return to the bus on time, at the time specified in your brochure (which you will receive on the day). If you are late and miss your bus, you will be responsible for your own transportation. Taxi fares from Victor Harbor to Adelaide cost approximately $200 - so don't miss your bus!

• Please do not change buses throughout the day. Always board the bus you have bought a ticket for.

• This event is open to current University of Adelaide students only. No additional friends and family will be allowed.

• By registering for this event, you are consenting to having your photograph taken.
