The VIC Cherry Extension and Communication Project Team are looking forward to hosting a cherry vigour management workshop with the Netherland's Ronald Vermeulen on the 3rd of March 2025.

10:00 am - Grower panels, discussions and presentations on vigour management in cherries 

12:00 pm - Lunch (Provided, please inform of any dietary requirements) 

1:00 pm - Orchard walk

- AgVic NOS systems, demonstration of Cartographer 

- Montague's orchard: FOPs plantings and protective covers

Arisa Hayashi is Technical Manager for the cherry program at Bloom Fresh in Australia and New Zealand. Arisa grew up in San Diego, California and studied Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis. She has worked as viticulturist for wineries in Germany, Austria and on the Mornington Peninsula prior to working in the Australian cherry industry. Her hobbies include cycling and travelling. She is based in Melbourne, Australia.
