Victoria SRF Face to Face PD Workshop February 2025
Event description
Boost Young Children's Confidence and Skills Through Play!
Are you an early childhood educator, teacher, or allied health professional who works with children aged 3-6? Join us for an intimate, hands-on workshop that brings the Animal Fun program to life! Featured on the School Readiness Funding Menu of Evidence and limited to just 10 participants, this small-group format ensures a personalised experience where you can connect directly with our program Director Sue McLaren and leave with practical tools to build young children’s motor skills, social confidence, and readiness for school—all while having a great time yourself.
Why You’ll Love This Workshop
We know how important it is to find programs that are both evidence-based and easy to implement. With Animal Fun, you’ll walk away with practical, engaging activities that fit right into your daily routines—and that children absolutely love!
- Feel Confident: Gain hands-on experience with activities that are easy to implement and backed by solid research.
- Make a Difference: Studies show that strong motor and social skills set children up for success in learning and life.
- Supportive Resources: You’ll receive our Scope and Sequence book (valued at $55), giving you a full year of lesson plans linked directly to EYLF, NQS, and the Australian Curriculum (HPE Foundation).
What to Expect
This half-day workshop is all about making learning fun—for you and the children you work with. Here’s what we’ll cover:

- Engaging Parents: We’ll talk about simple ways to get parents involved and reinforce skills at home.
- Program Planning Made Easy: Leave with a clear plan and all the tools you need to get started!
And don’t worry, we’ve made this workshop as practical as possible. By the end, you’ll feel excited and fully prepared to use Animal Fun with the kids in your care.
You’ll Also Receive
- Workbook to jot down ideas and insights during the workshop.
- Certificate of Participation to add to your professional portfolio.
- Fun Giveaways: A poster and a parent e-book to get started right away.
