This opens a vital window for local governments, community food organisations, citizens and stakeholders from across the food system to come together to hear from each other, discuss the key issues, identify key shared needs and priorities, and engage directly with local, state and Federal policy makers.

The City of Banyule is a local government area in Victoria, Australia in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Banyule's Urban Food Strategy was endorsed in 2023 and a stakeholder group continues to meet as part of the four-year action plan.

Orders are collected from a neighbourhood Hub run by a local “Hubster,” who operates it as a small micro-business. Full price transparency allows members to see what farmers and wholesalers are paid and to learn more about the people who grow and produce their food across Australia.
