Rub shoulders with Australia's 2024 Olympic and Paralympic heroes at the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) public Open Day.
With over 100 VIS athletes competing at the 2024 Paris Games, the Open Day will provide the opportunity to meet and greet our athletes, learn from high performance sport experts and experience the inner workings of a high performance sport facility.
The event welcomed more than 1000 Victorians of all ages in 2023 and provided a fun, educated and safe experience they will never forget. This year’s event promises to be even bigger with over 15 sporting organisations showcasing their sports and expertise.
The Open Day promises the complete inner-sanctum experience, and will include;
- Interactive sessions and demonstrations from our high performance experts
- Activations from sporting organisations to have a go at new sports
- Activities with Olympic and Paralympic VIS athletes
- Discussion panels to learn how athletes balance sport and life
- Access to the 'behind the scenes' athlete services. Think, performance testing in the gym, sport science labs and recovery equipment.
- And much, much more!
