| Please Note: The event is now SOLD OUT. Step back in time with a very special night celebrating Victory in the Pacific and the historic surrender of Japan. The joy of the end of the war, that came so close to Australian shores, will be remembered with a black tie event at the Caloundra Events Centre on Saturday 13 August. The evening will recreate the era of the 1940s, featuring music by the Australian Army Big Band and an Andrew Sisters tribute. Guests will be able to fox trot and jive the night away on a dance floor in front of the band. A surprise special guest of honour will also be attending. Included in the ticket price is a delicious two course meal and four hour drinks package. You will be seated at tables named after Australian battles and featuring souvenir placemats. Ladies are invited to come dressed in 40s inspired evening attire and men in 40s style black tie. Brylcream and California Poppy is the order of the evening! Get a group together and purchase a table of 10 to be seated together with family and friends. Single tickets are also available. |
