If you're looking to bring some fantastical flair and vision to your photography, then this workshop is for you!

"Vikings and Valkyries" focuses on a styled themed shoot that will show you how to use controlled, directional lighting in a studio environment to craft and create dramatic, evocative and eye-catching portraits. Our featured couple models are Travis (as a Viking) and Emma (in dark fantasy styling), who will be bringing sizzle and impact to the shoot!

You'll learn how to shape light using both constant LED lighting and studio strobes. It's a great opportunity to capture stunning images while you're learning... with professional lighting and portraiture guidance to help make sure that your shots are going to be first class!

  • Your interchangeable lens camera (DSLR or Mirrorless).
  • To optimise your image creation in this workshop, we recommend focal lengths that range from 50-200mm full frame (or equivalent if you are using an APS-C sensor or Micro Four Thirds camera).  We recommend wide aperture lenses (f/4 or wider) for this workshop in order to work with the LED lights. If you are shooting only with primes, we recommend a 50+mm and an 85+mm prime lenses.
