Indie folk darlings Vinegar Hill bring Blue Mountains folk-rock, delivering heartfelt stories that blend the warmth of acoustic instrumentation with the richness of soulful vocal harmonies.

Vinegar Hill is a four piece band featuring songwriter Ethan Hannay on guitar and vocals, Skye Evans on double bass and vocals, Matt Horam on drums and vocals, and Chet Miller on lead guitar.

This dynamic group is set to captivate audiences with a unique blend of original compositions carefully crafted to showcase their diverse musical styles.

They play both kinds of music, beautiful and heartbreaking.

Jimmi Carr is a Blue Mountains musician and producer with 6 studio albums under his belt as well as two with his electronic band, Innamech.

He has been performing mainly in solo acoustic mode recently but is returning to the stage with a full band for the first time since touring in support of his most recent album, Flight Cycle.

JCB will appear with a new lineup, consisting of previous long term band members Greg Charlton on bass, who played in the most recent lineup, and Lachlan McEwen on drums, who played in the band in the late 2010s and appeared on 2019’s Second Story album. They form an experienced, powerhouse rhythm section that knows Jimmi’s music intimately.

Jimmi’s music moves through groove-driven roots with an acoustic flavour to hard edged funk and heavy rock. More recently it has also moved into world music territory. Over the years he has had airplay all over the country on stations including Triple J, FBI, PBS and two album of the week selections on ABC radio. He’s also received plenty of praise from critics. Rhythms Magazine described his latest album Flight Cycle as - “A sparkling, diverse album… an exceptional collection of vibrant music.”

Triple J’s Nkeshi Anele reviewed his 2019 single Free Right Now, saying - “It brought a real smile to my face and made my morning as I put this on repeat. The song is fantastic. Rhythmically so exciting and fun and the whole thing comes together masterfully. Bravo!” - 4.5 stars.

JCB will be leaning on fun, upbeat material for this set, dance floor fillers!
