Nestled on a beautifully wooded estate, Arterra wines opened its doors in 2015 to share a passion for the art of grape growing and winemaking with all guests who find their Hawkmoth Arts way to this hidden gem. Arterra promises a distinctive wine experience. Ancient techniques integrate with modern capacity to produce a superior quality, progressive clean wine, intended to be a truly authentic ‘Virginia Style’ wine. This is done with native yeast fermentations, neutral oak, and no additives. Arterra grows the highest quality fruit which expresses in their wines with vivid flavors, rich textures, and robust character. Hawkmoth Arts Studio and Gallery are also on site offering a beautiful array of nature inspired ceramic and mixed media artworks. Join us for one of our many events or stop by any time to experience our hidden gem.
