Violence in the Valley IV - CAPO Powerlifting meet

Welcome to Violence in the Valley IV, Below Parallel’s 1st and only 3-lift CAPO comp of 2025. It is held the week after Nationals and is the first chance to qualify for CAPO nationals in 2026.
CAPO members are eligible for entry and winners will be decided for weight class and overall based on Glossbrenner score. 

Weigh in (and rack/pin heights) will be 24 hours prior, on Saturday August 9th, from 9:30 - 10:30, or the Sunday morning between 7:30am and 8:30am.

Please submit openers in the week prior to the last week before the comp.

-Rules and calls are as per CAPO standards, please familiarise yourself prior to competing, although a comprehensive briefing will be held prior to warm ups.

-This is a sanctioned competition, so competition standard attire and lifting equipment (soft suites,belts, wrist wraps etc) must be worn. 

-A Goliath squat bar and Valhalla mono, Valhalla Powerbar and Texas deadlift bar will be used on the platform.
