On Friday 1 May 2026, Sydney will host the VIP Red Carpet Premiere of Life Could Be a Dream at Palace Cinemas, Moore Park.
The premiere marks the official Sydney launch of the debut feature from award-winning Australian filmmaker Jasmin Tarasin, ahead of the film’s national theatrical release on 14 May 2026, distributed by Maslow Entertainment .
The evening will feature a red carpet arrival from 6:00PM, followed by the screening and a special in-conversation Q&A with key cast and creatives.
About the Film
Life Could Be a Dream stars Maeve Dermody in a quietly devastating and luminous performance alongside Alexander England, and introduces Sonny McGee in a breakout role. The screenplay is written by acclaimed author Courtney Collins (The Burial, Bird).
