Description
Join this live, virtual breathwork mastery practice facilitated by Sunni Hart using intention, breath, sound to bring you into deeper connection with yourself.
The breathing style is full, conscious and connected, held at a gentle pace. Sessions can be subtle or dramatic, both are equally potent. This is a self-generated, agenda-free space. There are no contraindications and you don't need any experience with breathwork to join.
This is for you if:
You've felt something shift in your body during other practices and wanted to go further into it, not around it.
You've been carrying something that words alone haven't shifted, no matter how much you've talked it through or tried to organise your thoughts around it.
You want a practice that meets you where you are, not one that asks you to perform intensity or push past what's true.
You're curious what a subtle session can hold, not just a dramatic one.
You want somewhere self paced, where nothing is imposed and nothing needs to be explained afterward to be valid.
You're looking for something ongoing, not a single fix, a practice you can return to.
Practice will be held on the first Monday of the month 7-9pm and the last Saturday of the month 9-11am.
FAQs
- What do I need to practice?
Find a private space where you you can lie flat. Bring a journal, pen, blanket, tissues and water, some headphones with a mic and an eye mask if you have them. Wear something loose. Eat lightly beforehand if you can, a full stomach makes deep breathing harder. Make sure your device is charged or plugged in, your internet connection is stable, and your camera is on so Sunni can stay with you throughout.
- Do I need any experience with breathwork?
No. This style is self directed and self paced, and works whether it's your first session or your fiftieth.
- Should I come more than once?
A single session is complete on its own, and plenty of people find real change in one. But sessions build. What clears in an early session opens space for what comes next.
Coming back isn't about needing more, it's about giving the practice time to work the way it actually works, session by session, each one building on what the last one moved.
- What if nothing happens, or what if a lot happens?
Both are normal and both are doing exactly what they need. Sessions can be subtle or dramatic, and one isn't more successful than the other. What moves is whatever is ready to move that day.
- Is it safe to do this at home, alone?
Yes. This is a self-generated process. You will not go further than you are willing to go. Additionally, Sunni is supporting you throughout the session over video, watching and responsive, even though you're physically in your own space.
- Can I do this if I'm on my period, unwell, or recovering from something?
Yes. There are no contraindications to full, conscious, connected breath at this pace. If you have a broken or cracked rib or a significant chest injury, let Sunni know beforehand, since pain may limit how fully you can breathe on the day.
- Will I be seen or heard by other participants?
Yes. This is a shared Zoom room, so other participants will be visible and audible during the session, the same as an in person group.
- What happens after the session ends?
Integration closes every session, time to land and reflect before you go back into your day. Many people feel tired afterward, so it's worth having nothing urgent scheduled straight after.
- What if my hands or face start to tingle or cramp during the session?
This is called tetany, and it's a normal response to the breath, not something wrong. It usually starts as tingling in the hands, sometimes the mouth, and it means stored tension is beginning to release. If it happens, the fastest way through is to relax the breath and let a sound out, whatever wants to come. It always passes, and once it does, the body is usually left more relaxed than before.
- I've heard breathwork can bring up strong emotion. Is that going to happen to me?
It might, and it might not, and either is fine. What surfaces depends on what's ready, not on how the session is run. If something does come up, you're supported to feel it and sound it out rather than push through it, and nothing that comes up needs to be resolved or explained afterward to be valid.
