This event has passed Register

Event description

Suitable for Years 3 to 10.

Hosted by expert educators, your students will become urban farmers, discovering where our food comes from and how it gets to our table. Students will take an in-depth look at our food systems and how it impacts our environment. Come explore ancient, current and future farming practices with us, including what makes healthy soil.

During this interactive virtual learning session your students will:

  • learn how we, as a community can feed a growing population whilst keeping carbon emission down
  • discover what role city dwellers play in supporting farmers, and
  • explore the impacts of current agricultural practices

Curriculum: Science, Geography and Sustainability.
