THEME OF THE DAY: Survival - could you survive a night out in the bush?

9:30am	*Arrival and introductions*	Welcomes, introductions and karakia – have your communication system at the ready to shout out to all your friends using devices across the country.
	Pack a survival kit for home or out and about	What do we need to help keep us warm and safe? How can we get help?
	*Lets Move*	It is imoprtant to keep moving, let's dance!
	*What woudl you do?*	It is time to make some choices, we need shelter, food and water. Watch some videos to help us choose well.
	*Survivor challange*	Jane has watched too much reality TV! Do you think she could complete a survivor challenge in front of everyone?
	*Chat sheet*	We will talk you through the Chat Sheet that we have provided you to talk about following our session.
	Vocabulary suggestions:	We are promoting the use of core words for our students who are using communication systems. These might be words such as: feel like make big little in out up down turn.
