"These sessions have been an effective way for me to learn. I look forward to jumping online every week, being still, and learning. It's become part of my routine.”
Virtual MyTime: Self Care for Carers
Description
This session is all about you!
Term 4 is starting and the end of year is in sight. This can be a demanding time where we find ourselves juggling end of year activities, preparing for the summer holidays as well as maintaining current routines, appointments and expectations.
Kiind’s Virtual MyTime session, Self Care for Carers is a gentle reminder to pause and think about our own wellbeing and mental health too. Taking small moments for rest, support and self care is important, it helps recharge so we can continue our caring role. You matter, and looking after yourself is an essential part of the caring experience.
Our guest speaker, Erin Griffin will be joining the session to support the self care journey. Erin will be using her lived experience and background in community mental health, grief education, yoga, and meditation to provide attendees with practical self care tips.
