We’re often handed a deficit-based view of autism, one that focuses on what’s hard, instead of what’s possible. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, unsure, and alone. But with time, support, and the right community around us, a new kind of understanding starts to grow.

In this session, we’ll discuss what it means to see your child through a strengths-based lens and move from fear to confidence, even in the early days of the journey.

In this peer group we’ll explore
• The early pressure to fix or “get it right” and how to let go of it
• Honouring your child for who they are, not who they’re expected to be
• The quiet wins that matter more than milestones
• Trusting that you don’t have to have all the answers

This group is facilitated by Kristy
Kristy is a proud mum to Dash, who is Autistic and has ADHD, just like his mum. She’s passionate about connecting with other families and celebrating neurodivergent joy and all the strengths that come with thinking differently.

Parents and carers of Autistic and neurodivergent children under 8 years, including those who are exploring or awaiting a diagnosis.
