Join Mitchell Woods from Ramsay Psychology to learn how psychologists can help parents better understand neurodivergent brains. Discover how they can identify and build upon a child's unique strengths to help them reach their full potential. You'll also learn about the reports psychologists can prepare to support NDIS funding applications.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, share your experiences and connect with other families raising Autistic children.

Kristy is the proud parent of Dash, an inquisitive, gentle-hearted, and wonderfully funny 9-year-old. Dash is Autistic, has ADHD, and global development delay. Kristy likes to say that Dash "got it from his Mama", as she identifies as AuDHD herself. A passionate advocate for her family, Kristy thrives as a parent peer facilitator, dedicated to sharing her insights, celebrating neurodivergent joy, and connecting with other families on a similar journey.

Who is this event for?

The Autism MyTime peer group was created to support families raising Autistic children. While the topics and guest speakers are tailored to their experiences, we also warmly welcome parents and carers who are:
- Exploring an autism diagnosis for their child, or
- Raising a child with a disability or developmental delay and feel the topic may be relevant to their parenting journey.

During a MyTime session, there is a guided discussion and a space to connect with other families. These discussions offer an opportunity for parents and caregivers to share and learn from each other.
