    Event description

Join us for a relaxing and fun visible mending workshop with Elise Hinkley from Hoop Hoop Hooray.

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned stitch enthusiast, this workshop aims to empower you to build on your existing skills and knowledge, exploring visible mending techniques such as appliqué, embroidery, and sashiko. Give your clothes a new lease on life and enhance your repair and transformation skills.

    What you’ll get:

    • All workshop materials (including Sashiko needle and thread) and notes so that you can continue mending and revamping your clothes at home.

    What to bring:

    • Garments (jeans, shirts, jumpers, cardigans, socks) or home textiles (tea towel or tablecloth) that have rips or holes that need repairing.

    • Embellishments (buttons, patches, fabrics etc.) that are meaningful to you - not a requirement.

    • Your imagination and enthusiasm!
