Opening Reception: The Vision Board Exhibit by Onikia Moore

VISION BOARD is a contemporary art exhibition celebrating Black women as pioneers, innovators, and influencers whose creativity, style, beauty, culture, and self-expression have shaped the world around us.

From fashion and beauty to music, art, language, lifestyle, and identity, Black women have consistently created the blueprint for what comes next. Yet the influence is often borrowed, repackaged, branded, and sold back without recognition of where it began.

Through bold, thought-provoking artwork and interactive pieces, VISION BOARD explores both sides of that story—the celebration of the women who created the vision and the uncomfortable conversation surrounding who gets credited, who gets copied, and who gets to profit from it.

This exhibit is more than a showcase of art. It is a recognition of influence, originality, identity, and legacy.
