    Facilitators

    Johanna

Having always had a passion and intrigue for people and their unique paths, Joanna naturally sought out career roles being of service to others. She loves nothing more than to uplift, empower and see the light shine brightly in others. Growing up she always had a deep sense of Self and awareness, which was smothered for survival and belonging. As she matured she developed an intense desire to rediscover that sense of self, awareness and ability to see the bigger picture in all situations, so she could better be of service to others and find a state of peace and harmony within herself.

This path of ‘the great undoing’ led Joanna to mystics, monks and amazing teachers that offered her pathways inwards to attain tools for mind liberation through meditation, self mastery (independence), discipline, focus and direction through Kung Fu, profound modalities for integration and healing and most importantly her own greatness, truth and divinity.

Now, her heart and soul is calling her to reach as many people ready and yearning to be free, to guide them home to their own unique greatness and awaken their own inner divinity. This has led her down the Divine path to open Allambee Sanctuary, to offer a peaceful place for a mix of yin and yang practices to choose from, so that people may connect with themselves.

    Seka Rae

Seka Rae has been facilitating personal development retreats, with mindful movement and dance, since 2006. Similarly to Joanna, she lived an alternative lifestyle for a decade, living in meditation centres, retreat centres volunteering her various skills. She is a trained counsellor with a background in community work and education. She has experience with different organisations and working with women who have undergone serious trauma. She has also been a Youth Justice Conference Convenor - this requires the ability to listen to all parties and facilitate respectful communication. Not least of all, almost two decades of working with refugees and migrants has given her a compassionate approach to break through communication and cultural barriers. In her ‘free’ time she enjoys creating her own music and is also a comedy improviser! She is comfortable diving into the depths of difficult emotions, while helping people see the lighter side of life. She has spent over 20 years extensively exploring personal development, including 12 step recovery programs, The Artists way, Psychodrama and many other healing approaches, whilst running retreats and workshops to help people move through old baggage.
