Smartphone Photography & Digital Solutions

Take better photos. Create better content. Get more from your digital presence.

Great tourism experiences deserve great imagery, and you don’t need expensive camera equipment to create it.

Visit Northern Tasmania invites tourism and hospitality operators to join us for a free, practical workshop on smartphone photography and digital solutions for your business.

Elevate your smartphone photography with World Photo Adventures.

We can’t make you a professional from one workshop, but we can offer you key tools to improve your ability to produce great imagery to help your business.

Unlock the full potential of the camera you carry every day in our exclusive workshop. Join renowned photographers Darran and Frazer Leal of World Photo Adventures, as they share valuable techniques to enhance your imagery for social media and digital marketing. With decades of combined photography experience, including Darran's teaching since 1981 and Frazer's youthful technical knowledge, they bring expertise gained from breathtaking locations worldwide, to right here to Tasmania.

You’ll learn how to make better use of your smartphone to:

• Compose captivating images that stand out

• Utilise natural light to enhance your shots

• Showcase your accommodation, experiences, food, and destinations effectively

• Create visually appealing content for social media

• Avoid common pitfalls that diminish your online presence

No photography experience is required. This workshop offers practical techniques you can immediately implement to elevate your business's visual storytelling. Don’t miss this opportunity to transform your smartphone photography skills!

Discover the Digital Solutions program

We’ll also be joined by Kelly Brown, Manager of the Tasmanian Governments Business Tasmania service, who will share how they can help people to start, run and grow their business by offering personalised assistance, information and connections to programs and services across the Tasmanian Government. Joining Kelly will be Bianca McKenzie, an experienced digital marketer who will take you through Digital Solutions Tasmania program.

The Australian Government's Digital Solutions program provides eligible Tasmanian small businesses with access to one-on-one advice from experienced, Tasmanian-based digital mentors, along with workshops, webinars and digital resources.

Whether you need support with social media and marketing, your website, digital strategy or other aspects of running your business online, you’ll hear about the assistance available and how to access it, alongside practical tips and tricks to help you apply the exciting skills you'll have learnt from the Leals to your digital strategy.
