About the Facilitator

Daniela Bethencourt has over 25 years of experience teaching, performing and promoting Latin dance and culture. With Uruguayan and Brazilian heritage, she currently teaches through East Coast Dance, delivering weekly classes, private lessons, community workshops and a homeschool Latin dance program in Port Macquarie. She is also an event organiser and one of the directors of Port Macquarie LatinFest.

Daniela is passionate about making Latin dance accessible, fun and inclusive, creating engaging experiences that build confidence, creativity, cultural understanding, physical wellbeing and social connection.
