This workshop will be facilitated by and VJ and visual artist Tom Vanderzeil (Passive Kneeling)

This free workshop will introduce the fundamental skills and knowledge behind presenting live visuals, otherwise known as VJing - often seen in club and live music settings. Explore software and hardware options for generating visuals on your laptop.

These workshops focus on the social and collaborative aspect of audio-visual performance adn music-making. We're inviting folks to come and explore VJing, ask questions and get started exploring the craft in a social and relaxed learning environment.

These workshops are for folks aged 18+

Sound School & Ecstatic Mob are teaming up to host a series of free Audio and Visual workshop programs, sharing skills in music production, recording, DJing, VJing, Live Coding in Sonic Pi, OBS broadcasting software and modular synthesis. These programs will be hosted at Footscray Community Arts. The workshop series will run weekday evenings 7pm-9pm from mid April to June, 2025.
