Event description

Vanya Insull aka VJ Cooks, is back with her third cookbook 'Everyday Comfort Food' and it's time for a book tour!

The evening will include a behind-the-scenes chat of how her cookbooks are made, insight into the daily running of VJ cooks and a Q&A session to conclude the night.

There will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of any of Vanya's best-selling cookbooks; Everyday Favourites, Summer Favourites and of course Everyday Comfort Food. If you have any of Vanya's cookbooks at home, feel free to bring them along to be signed as well.

AND, as a special offer, we want to welcome all ticket holders who have a high school student - at any school - to bring them along. (That's if you think they'd be interested of course!)

This would be free of charge. We just thought they might like to hear Vanya's story of getting a cookbook published and all of her learnings on the way.

 --------------------------------

Following on from the runaway success of her first two cookbooks - Everyday Favourites  and Summer Favourites -  Everyday Comfort Food celebrates the colder seasons, with warming winter meals and nostalgic treats to keep the whole family happy. From hearty soups, tender slow-cooked lamb and flaky golden pies to sweet delights and indulgent self-saucing puddings, Everyday Comfort Food delivers 70 mouth-watering recipes that taste like home.

With more than 330,000 followers on Facebook and 200,000 on Instagram, VJ cooks has become a household name in homes right across New Zealand (especially at dinner time), with a reputation built on simple, delicious, never-fail recipes. She knows what works in the kitchen when it comes to feeding a family and how to whip up the perfect dish for every occasion.

*Doors will be open from 6.30pm. Enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival.
